No more drilling or pounding to try to find a stud – No more damaged walls! The reinforced steel design provides the muscle to hang and hold up to 150 lbs. Great for plaster, drywall or paneling. Twist, Push, Turn. Pick a point on the wall where you want the bottom of the hook to sit. Then, measure ¼” directly above that point and set the tip there.Next, with firm forward pressure, twist the hook back and forth (like a key) until you have chiseled through the wall. Now turn the hook upward and push completely into the wall until only the hook is exposed.
What a turn. I was very disappointed. I tried to use over plasterboard and had a difficult time to get them to insert the whole way. I could only get a hook in all courses, however, was in a closet inside. It seems so easy on television – probably because there is no insulation of exterior walls or at the event. If you buy this product make sure the walls are very thin. Never in the commercial is what I tell you that if you have medium-high walls (although it seems they are hollow), the hook for custom shop in. This can be a waste of money. Rating: 1 / 5
Good for drywall, as announced, but if you hit a stud, is unnecessary. . . which presents a problem b / c the center of the wall where I wanted my picture was hanging on a wooden post was.
Also, if you have the pocket door (the kind that slide into a wall) can not use these hooks or nails Hercules. FYI.
